My task was getting audiences to tune into the livestream. Why would they do that when they were already used to consuming content during or after the fact on social? Because now, they can be part of what was previously an exclusive experience. By touting the LIVE element—and leveraging the co-hosts to build a connection ahead of time—we positioned audiences as participants, rather than passive viewers.
